Lingual braces use the same material as traditional metal braces, and give the same result as other types of braces.
The difference is that they are placed on the back side of the teeth, and are therefore completely hidden from view. In this sense, they are truly invisible braces because someone standing right in front of you would not be able to tell you are wearing braces!
